The 85-300/5 Canon FL was a monster. Big, heavy and expensive. This was the fourth most expensive
SLR lens they offered in August 1970 at $578.50, when their most expensvive SLR, the Pellix< was
$$388.95 with a 55/1.2, and the Canon 7s with the 50/0.95 was $549.50.It was provided with its own
unique style of case, and was sold in a large brown cardboard box with FL lens style stickers on the
front and ends.
